Is AI Based Recommendation Ruin our Choice ?

They say "Data is new oil ". Today everybody have smart phone aka a full fledged computer in their hand networked with many other devices. Everyone is online 24 X 7. And all companies want to know what their existing and potential customers are up-to.  They are using AI and ML techniques to study their habits, patterns, consumption patterns, search queries and many more that may be we are not aware of๐Ÿ˜€ . This data is consumed by AI ML models created based on some algorithms to predict interests of person and what in future they may want to order, see, purchase, learn, wear, go-to, maintain, hospitalized and what not! This is done of-course to increase profits of these companies and bring comfort to their customers but is it happening really? Are these algorithms understand the mind ? Is it ruining the excitement in unpredictability of life, newness, surprises? Is it making people tunnel visioned? These are the questions that comes to my mind whenever I find myself surrounded

Covid -19 Time

Hello folks.....I am writing this post after 3 years on the blogger. Last time when I wrote post, it was a different world. Three years seems small number if we notice how world has evolved. But in the fast changing current times three years is huge gap. Really it's all relative in this world. And relativity matters. Anyway I don't want to enter that territory now. Sometime later may be....๐Ÿ˜‰ I am writing from India and in last three to four years, data revolution has happened in India. Before three years I and many of us were using  1GB data per month. Now we are using at-least 2GB data per day. In my case its  5 GB average data per day.  This has big impact on society. Many people have smart phones in their hand and with availability of practically unlimited data at your service, people are free to explore the world.
