Last month, I visited a unique and un-common destination, and it is Lonar lake. I visited this place by my car. It is 160 KM from Aurangabad city. You can take Samruddhi Highway and this distance can easily be covered within 90 minutes. Location Reach: I must add few lines about Samruddhi Highway. It is basically a straight line drawn on the ground. This 8-lane highway is very smooth & well-built but really boring, sleepy. There are hardly any cars. So many times, it happened that there is no one ahead or behind me. Come on, this is India, we are not use to this. Stay: Well at some point you need to take exit on this highway to go towards the crater lake. We reached in the evening at 5 'O clock. MTDC room was already booked. It was well maintained. There is garden for kids, free Wi-Fi and the best part is it is just in front of the lake. There were few other guests, from India and outside. Many people visit Lonar who have some interest in astronomy, history and space even
