First team outing

On last Saturday our office organized an outing to Jade resorts in ECR (East coast road). It was a beach resort. Outing was meant to be for some fun, relief from daily problems with product, and to increase the interaction among the teammates. I think this purpose was well served. In the first session we conducted some team building activities. These activities gave us chance to show our creativity, interact with our team mates and also have fun. Second session after delicious lunch was reserved for enjoyment on beach.

Jade resort is big resort with all the material needed for fun like swimming pool and table tennis, volley ball and yes great beach. The most enjoyable part was roaming on the beach watching the nice green and blue water, crabs, and sea eagles. It’s an unmanned beach. There is hardly any place in India without crowd. So it added to the peace of mind.

Overall it was fun Saturday.

Exploring Paris

This was my second weekend in Paris. Now, I am settled in Paris, I know the routes, I know how to search routes for any location. I am ok with food and weather. Language is not problem. People try their best to speak in English. At the same time I am trying my best to know more and more French words. My senior here company suggested some locations to see for week end. Public Transpotation in Paris

Paris is famous for its museum, for Eiffel tower, as a city of romance but also it is famous for its best ever public transport service. City is divided in various zones. There are four ways of transportation, bus, metro, tram and RER (it is a railway). But the best part is they are well connected with each other. For regular travelers it is possible to buy just one Navigo card. It is the pass or card, by using which it is possible to travel by any of the above means in any zone of the city. So good thing is, it is literally possible to travel at any part of the city without carrying a single cent for complete one month. Based on zones and the tracks of metro, tram etc. city maps are available. These maps are elaborate and self-explanatory. Once understood how to read, then it is possible to roam at any part of city without opening mouth. Tram or metro are running at every 3 to 5 minutes. So waiting is minimal. Reality of Real Estate in India

Now days I do not happen to read news paper daily. Sometimes on weekends I get chance to read news papers. But, one thing I have noticed that first page or cover page, a page above front page which is full of property advertisement is reaching each home everyday. They have 1 BHK, 2BHK, 3BHK flats, row houses, farm houses, farm lands, and NA plots advertisement. Now days customers have hundreds of options. They have various budgets from so called cheap flats to luxurious flats with high budgets. They provide so many amenities. It’s a matter of research how many amenities are really needed and are used. They are present just as status symbols. People are paying so much money extra for these unused facilities. I want to put my views here about whole real estate industry in India. Home is COSTLY (?)
