First team outing

On last Saturday our office organized an outing to Jade resorts in ECR (East coast road). It was a beach resort. Outing was meant to be for some fun, relief from daily problems with product, and to increase the interaction among the teammates. I think this purpose was well served. In the first session we conducted some team building activities. These activities gave us chance to show our creativity, interact with our team mates and also have fun. Second session after delicious lunch was reserved for enjoyment on beach.

Jade resort is big resort with all the material needed for fun like swimming pool and table tennis, volley ball and yes great beach. The most enjoyable part was roaming on the beach watching the nice green and blue water, crabs, and sea eagles. It’s an unmanned beach. There is hardly any place in India without crowd. So it added to the peace of mind.

Overall it was fun Saturday.

Public Transpotation in Paris

Paris is famous for its museum, for Eiffel tower, as a city of romance but also it is famous for its best ever public transport service. City is divided in various zones. There are four ways of transportation, bus, metro, tram and RER (it is a railway). But the best part is they are well connected with each other. For regular travelers it is possible to buy just one Navigo card. It is the pass or card, by using which it is possible to travel by any of the above means in any zone of the city. So good thing is, it is literally possible to travel at any part of the city without carrying a single cent for complete one month. Based on zones and the tracks of metro, tram etc. city maps are available. These maps are elaborate and self-explanatory. Once understood how to read, then it is possible to roam at any part of city without opening mouth. Tram or metro are running at every 3 to 5 minutes. So waiting is minimal. Inside the metro, or tram or RER, all stations on that root ...

Mexican food

Wow, I wrote last post 8 months back...time goes so fast. Actually having kids makes us very busy. I have toddler at home and he keeps me and my wife full time involved around him. Our life became so monotonous. I and my wife wanted to have a short break. Recently we were able to get it, finally. I had nice evening with my wife and with kids, ya they are always with us so far. I am waiting for time when I can go with my wife for dinner alone. 😊 we went to a nice restaurant nearby. And I had great Mexican food. Well I really don't know how original Mexican food looks like or tastes. To be precise I had Indian version of Mexican food and I am loving it. I know that Indian Chinese food have no relation at all with Chinese food in China. Maybe this is the case with Mexican food also. But what I had was really good memorable food. Three things I Like About Chennai

I am living in Chennai for about six months now and I was thinking what are the good thing I like about Chennai. Few things quickly popped in my mind. I am mentioning them here. I. People are sincere about their work I will call Chennaikars to people of Chennai, who are living in Chennai irrespective of their age, gender, native place, language etc. I feel Chennaikars are much sincere about their work. It doesn’t matter what work they do. May it be engineers, doctors, any other workers. It can be observed easily when we go to any shop, tea stall, hotel etc. Just to give example, I happened to go to two different doctors few months back. At the first doctor's place we paid consultation fees, after consultation doctor found that there is nothing wrong. So he asked reception to return money. This was new experience to me.
